G31 Z trigger height doesn't seem to be working.

I looked through similar post and have not been able to fix this. The z probe height does not appear to be set. I assume something is overriding the value. The nozzle is consistently 0.51mm above where it should be. I have tried + and - z probe height values. I have just been setting z baby step to ~0.51mm to make it work.
Thanks,

Your homing files are set up to use an endstop switch instead of a Z probe. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareCartesianPrinter#Section_Homing_Z.

Thank you very much, that was my problem. I kept looking here https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Using_mesh_bed_compensation#Section_Checking_the_trigger_height
It may be worth putting a link or a note there about this.
