M917 documentation states "This command sets the percentage of the current set by M906 that is to be used when the motor is stationary but not idle, or moving very slowly." What is the threshold value, and it would be nice to have a parameter to set it. I am using a 30 to 1 geared extruder stepper and would like increase the current above a threshold which this should do in practice.

M917 is only supported on the Duet Maestro. I have corrected the documentation to say that. The time before reduction to standstill current is a little under half a second. The reduction is done gradually over a period of about 50ms.
