      Our telecommunications agency, ANATEL, is now charging a very expensive tax for any radio emission device bought abroad. The Wifi module needs to be certified by the agency.

      I am sure that ESP8266 is so there should be a way to work around this limitation.

      But until that I would recommend for anyone buying from Brazil to choose the Ethernet version.
