I am trying to connect those drivers to a duet wifi and cannot get them to operate.
The drivers are powered at 24 VDC, so is the duet on the same power supply.
Somehow i have the feeling that i should connect the 5v to the driver but there ain't no input for it.
I have remapped the output to the expansion connector, pins 2,5,6 and 7 using this command in the config.g file M584 X0 Y1 Z5 E3

when moving or homing all i get is small burst of weak movement every 15 seconds or so

          Yes
This is exactly how i went about connecting the driver.
This is the driver i am using (picture).
          EN+ on expansion #7 ,
          PUL+ on 5
          DIR+ on 6
and all - on expansion 2 gnd

          Diagnostic info

          • when moving or homing all i get is small burst of weak movement every 5 seconds interval ???

          • I have disconnected everything but one motor to try to isolate the issue, same.

Did you invert the EN polarity and increase the step pulse time, in the M569 command for the external driver?

Change of plan. Installed DUEX2 and connect all motors using spare drivers
