      Good day,

Is it possible to use a header pin (instead of the standard PWM fan outputs) to control a PWM (0-5v) part cooling fan?

      Regards,

      Andre

Not directly, because the expansion connector outputs are 3.3v and can supply limited current. However, the latest RC firmware versions allow you to connect a fan to a heater output; so you could connect an external mosfet to one of the heater outputs on the expansion bus to drive a fan.

Brilliant that is pretty much what I ended up doing and it is now working.

          Thank you very much.
