Replaced bed, now have some geometry issues.
-
Hello!
I replaced my 125mm diameter bed with a 150mm diameter bed, and fixed a new bed.g and now i have a few issues.
- I get a few "Probe cannot reach X Y" while calibrating mesh.
- I seem to have messed something up so the bed appears do be shifted about +0.5mm on the X axis
I suppose it makes more sense to start with 2: What would i want to change to offset this via the config?
Below is my config files, and I can not figure out why i would get errors. I have used R148 for now due to my ofset issue, else the probing missed the bed slightly on the left side.

And with "Messed up" in regards to the X-shift, i mean "mechanically" in the design of the bottom plate holding the bed.

issue 1 is due to you having a 150 diameter bed but your Bed.G and config.g files are for one of 150mm RADIUS
issue 2 why worry about a 0.5mm error there it is pretty insignificant unless of course you want to print right to the edge which is not advisable IMHOBut you are also loading up the config-override file in the config.g with the m501 which is resting your bed size to be 120mm you have 2 options to overcome this first is to delete the override file but then if you have cup and pasted the Pid tune parts you will need to repeat them second method is to just comment out the M665 and M666 lines in that file.

sigh I messed this post up.. My bed is 150mm radius. 300mm dia usable surface. Gah.
No, i don't want to print right to the edge, just wanted to get the geometry correct. So, maybe defining the bed as 295mm dia isnt such a bad idea then?

Commenting out the M665 M666 and rerunning calibration seem to have fixed it indeed. I really should have noticed that.
Thank you!

That's the very reason I don't use it in that way very easy to get caught out by it
