[Solved] PT100 board - replace terminals (pluggable vs screw)?
-
Just wondering if there are any reasons for the 2.54mm screw terminals instead of something more convenient for the PT100 board?
Can only imagine there is a reason for choosing screw terminals? Noise maybe? Or can I just put on something else for convenience?

Another way to connect to it which doesn't involve modifying the board is to remove the 2 jumpers and use a 4-pin Dupont connector on the jumper pins. Or if using a 2-wire PT100 connection, use a 2-pin Dupont connector on the inner 2 of the 4 jumper pins, and use wire links in the screw terminals to replace the function of the jumpers.

Wow, you should have a tip jar..! (Seriously!)
And thanks, that makes sense::)

I think E3D deserves credit for that tip, not me!

I was mostly referring to the prompt, and detailed answers you seem to provide on top of making a great hardware and firmware for us, in general. Greatly appreciated.
