PanelDue firmware, build without splash screen?

Wanted to test a small change in the PanelDue firmware, but couldn't find a clean way to build it without the default splash screen?
Ended up commenting out a block of code that achieved the desired result, but is there a "clean" way to build it without the splash screen?

The standard build procedure builds versions with and without the splash screen. The binary without it has -nologo in the filename.

Thats embarrasing...! How in the world did I miss that.
But yes, you're absolutely right, opening ones eyes does help!
