Looking back, the Duet 2 Wifi:
A 2-pin 3.5mm terminal block is provided for connecting each of the two supported hot end heaters. The design is rated to 5A per extruder heater connection.
I'll just answer my own question, it seems like it'll be safe. The 3.5mm terminal block that comes with Duet 2 Wifi appears flimsy, would be nice if they made the housing stronger.
I went ahead and wired both heaters together in parallel using ferrule 20 awg terminal. It fits snuggly into the 2-pin 3.5mm terminal block.
Used single PT1000 thermistor from the hotend to measure the temperature.
So far I had not see any issues, I just made sure it's tightly fastened and watched it while I cranked it to the hottest I can peaking out around 98 watts (measured).
Just wanted to update everyone whoever may sees this while searching on google.
