Hey everyone,
I’m fairly new to the Duet 2 WiFi and am loving the level of control and customization it offers. However, I’m having a bit of trouble fine-tuning my hotend's PID settings. I’m using a genuine E3D V6 hotend, and while I’ve run the auto-tuning process a few times, the temperature fluctuates slightly during longer prints- usually by about 2-3°C.
I’m wondering if there are any tricks or tips you guys might recommend for better stability? Should I manually tweak the PID values after auto-tuning or increase the sample time? When I was searching about this I came across these resources/articles https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Heaters_tuning and UiPath Installation and as per them I have to set valve for the same but I have no idea how to do it.
Also, if anyone’s had experience with a similar setup, what PID settings worked for you? Would appreciate any advice you can throw my way!
Thanks a ton in advance
