    • RE: Toolchanging Machine [Duet3]

@Alex-cr I have looked at it, I just wished they would source the parts, assemble and sell as a tool head. I would pay 2x the cost. Their sourcing guide is not good

    • Toolchanging Machine [Duet3]

      Hi,

I'm building a toolchanger using e3d toolhead and tools.

      I have a duet 3.

I plan on having 8 tools, for which I understand I need 8 toolboards and 2 distribution boards.

      Q1) can I use 2 distribution boards with just 1 duet (24V)

Q2) Would it be enough to power 8 tools? (6 hemeras with supervolcano, 1 laser module, 1 CNC milling module)

Q3) as for my CNC tool I'm really confused. Can I use any router? Does it need to be under certain watt and volts? Is there any website/company which sells milling toolhead which is small and programmable by board.. I mean I know I can control it's motion but can I control its speed? And would it be powered from mains or PSU

      Thanks!
      Happy Making
