Hi guys,
I have a problem with incorrect travels during printing. The extruder travels to far and sometimes skips steps and travels back on the same line. The installed close loop motors do not show any skipped steps. It seems like a hiccup of the board, as the printer believes to be in the correct place.
I know the bed is not perfectly leveled in this picture, but the same error occurs with a leveled bed.
We already checked the printer regarding mechanical issues, reduced the accelerations and printing speed and tried different microsteppings.
The problem also occurs on other geometries.
The used hardware is:
Self-build carthesian printer
Duet 3 MB6HC (firmware version 3.2.2)
2x Duet EXP1XD (firmware version 3.2beta1+1)
x-axis: iHSS60 close loop motor
y-axis: 2x iHSS60 close loop motor
This is the current config file.
config.g
Does anyone have a suggestion what could cause the problem?
Thank you for your help!
