Hi.

I have a duet 2 wifi (v1.04) and a smart effector v2.0 that I finally got some time to try out. But the strain sensor seems to be a bit off. Reading other trouble shooting posts I can summarize the following:

• Smart effector is not used, but about 1.5 years old. No visible scratches on the paths.
• I measured the resistance between r11 and r13, and between r11 and r14. Both give a value of 40 Ohm.

The following start sequence is the same every time:
*During start up the LED blinks 7 times approximately 10 times, then 6 times alternating with 7 times for a minute or so, before 2 blinks.

• The sensor starts at 1000 and hold there for about 1-2 minutes before dropping to 0.
• Cannot get any response by tapping. Not when at 1000 nor at 0.

I started with RRF2.03 and tried with RRF3.0 and now running RRF3.3. No change from this. I measured the voltage from the PSU at 24 V and I measured the 3.3V (measured smart effector side 3.3V to GND), both are spot on during the entire procedure.

All this seems odd and doesn't add up to me. Is there anything I can try (the warranty is passed).
