Long story ... just some background

Bought tevo little monster, bought duet wifi board, for a while life was good. had car accident, tlm too big now, am in chair, cant reach top of printer on work surface. or build surface if on floor.

bought Cr10, for a while life was really good, way better than the TLM. one day the cr10 extruder driver decided to stop working. thought stuff it and stick the duet wifi board in it, i want to go 2+ extruders soon anyway

got going wiring it in and when 3/4 way through i thought ive got enough done to start testing as i go

no such luck, i cannot get the blasted thing to connect via wifi. i reinstalled all the firmware files via duets webpage,

M115 command returns ''Duet 2 wifi / ethernet firmware version 1.21 duet wifi version 1.02 or later

i follow duets web page, getting connected, but the board doesnt seem to respond right.

M552 returns wifi module is being started
M587 returns failed to retrieve network list

im lost, need help, please, tearing my hair out and my 3d printing is the only thing keeping me sane

any advice welcome, even if ive screwed up, need to know where to move forward
