There are two different firmwares: the firmware of the micro controller unit (MCU) - that is what @Stephen6309 talks about… and a bunch of files on the SD card - that is what I assume you to have copies of. That's all RepRap firmware (RRF), but in order to use your copies of the SD card, you first have to feed the MCU with instructions - remember: that's what you've erased. So follow the links @Stephen6309 has kindly posted.
