Yes, I tried removing th D3 and H45 entirely for all drivers (M569 P0.0 S0 ) and the drivers also takes over the settings according to M569:

But as already said, it makes no difference whether I use stealthchop or spreadcycle. The motor on driver P0.1 remains very quiet and the motors on the other drivers are still very loud.
