PS_ON to DuetWIFI

i have the Duet Wifi and a relay block(not with the circuit just https://components101.com/5v-relay-pinout-working-datasheet) do i need to connect a diode and stuff or can i just do without it.
One end of coil connected to PS_ON and the other connected to ground or 5V IN??
i will add the M81 command in the slicer end code.
is there anything i have to do in the config.g???

you need to connect a diode in parallel with the coil, cathode on 5V and anode on PS_ON pin.
Add M80 in start gcode of your slicer, and M81 S1 in the end gcode. -
And the jumper should be in internal 5V En or should i connect a USB and set the jumper to external 5V enable.??

I leave mine on internal, if you use USB for the 5v supply (like me) then the Duet falls back on this without problems once the PSU/onboard supply disappears.

yes i too got it working on separate USB.. works well... i was wondering why i am not getting 5V at the pin next to the PS-ON pin.

Because it's the 5v input for the board. You have to connect this pin to the 5v power supply and put the jumper to 5v ext in order to use this pin.
