    @dc42 any possibility in the future you guys are gonna make some kind of small expansion board to mount on the hotend that will be able to run the heater wires and stuff too and all associated wiring on the hotend?

      A smaller tool board is in the works that sounds like it would be what you're talking about.

            the only thing I see missing on that expansion board is for an endstop

              In Duet3 they are no longer labeled specifically for endstops.

              io0 on the tool board is for an endstop.

                We expect to be shipping tool boards early February. The specification will be much the same as the prototype described on the wiki, except that we have removed the TEMP2 input and changed the types of some of the connectors.
