XY Motors on Duex5

Hi,
Does it matter if I connect the X and Y Motor of my corexy to my Duex5 instead of the duet2wifi or is there no difference in the timings and speed of communication?
I also use stall detection on these axes.I know for example that for the endstops there was a difference in the latency between the duex and duet2.
From wiring perspective I can save alot of time if this will work without any disadvantage

It makes no difference whether you use the Duet or DueX motor connections.

Yes. The endstop inputs on DueX5 have higher latency. So I recommend that you connect the output from the Z probe to the Duet.
