I'm very early into testing if all my connections are working properly for my duet wifi board, but the first thing I noticed is that the fan I dedicated to cooling the board itself isn't turning on with it. I used my multimeter and I'm not getting any voltage from either of the two "always on fan" pins. Is this something that might be a configuration issue or is something busted?
      Thanks!

Check have the fan voltage selection jumper installed and that the fuse is not blown.

(asuming its a recent duet 2 wifi/ethetnet, if not you need to be more specific)

@bearer Could you explain what those jumpers do exactly? I don't understand from the diagram. Thanks!

see if that helps, if not highlight what is unclear so it can be improved upon.

Okay, so the "V FAN JUMPER SELECT" has bridged the VIN and V_FAN pins, so I'm thinking that means the fans pin outs should be giving 24V since that's whats hooked up to the psu. What's unclear to me are the other two fan jumper spots "JUMPER INT 5 EN" and "JUMPER EXT 5V EN" are what those are for.

                other two fan jumper spots

they're not for fans, they're for power supply options and covered in https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Power_Wiring#Section_5V_Options

Anyways, with the Vfan jumper on Vin you should indeed get 24v. If you don't double check the fuse as shown on the wiring diagram. If that is okay, maybe post some clear pictures of top and bottom of the board please.

motorcycle shops seem to carry them, some auto shops too. You can use a larger 2a fuse in a pinch.
