Burnt heated bed connector

Hi,
Today, I had to change a step motor on my printer and I have moved the Duet3D while making repairs. It probably dislocated the heated bed connection, so I noticed the heated bed was not turning on and when I looked at the board, the positive side of the connector is practically carbonized. What are my options to repair it? I assume the connector can be replaced but it is probably difficult to remove without proper equipment. I've read that you could use a MOSFET board to control the bed but if the connector is burned, there will be no way to connect it to this board. Are there any other options (my heated bed is a DC 12 volts silicone heated bed).

would help to see the damage; but given its the positive you could probaly just scrape off all the burnt loose stuff and solder a heavy gauge wire between Bed+ and Vin+ - or even better - a fuse.

oh, that't not gonna scrape off..
(Lacking other info I assumed it was a Maestro board from the nickname - that board has the two positives adjacent each other and an easy bridge to make)
on the other hand, you could run the Bed+ to the Vin+ terminal, or directly to the power supply if the Bed- connector and mosfet is still good. (and get some ferrules or terminals on the high current wires if at all possible)
