Hi can anyone have a look at my config file for my Tronxy X5sa and duet2 WiFi please, I have most things working and homing except the Z probe isn’t stopping the z axis, it has been wired into permanently on fan connectors and the the signal to the first pin on the z probe connector and the signal wire has a bat 85 soldered into it as described on another post, the sensor lights up if I put something metal under it, also I need it to move over the bed from xy position to detect the bed.
      Thanks

@Saroleve Are you using the stock TronXY NPN sensor? If so, take a look at the config in this thread: https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/8514/auto-bed-leveling-map-on-tronxy-x5sa

I'm assuming you have a Duet WiFi, hardware version 1.03 or older, which is why you have added the Bat 85, and then connected to Z-PROBE in, as per https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_a_Z_probe#Section_NPN_output_normally_open_inductive_or_capacitive_sensor

        From your config.g:
        M558 P2 H5 F120 T6000 ; set Z probe type to modulated and the dive height + speeds
        From the other thread: M558 P5 I1 H5 F120 T6000
You should set your probe to type P5, which is for switch-type sensors. P2 is expecting to modulate the signal, which an NPN sensor doesn't.
I1 will invert the probe, which you need to do with NPN sensors.
The rest is fine. Once the probe is working, you could add A10 R0.5 S0.003 B0 on the end of the M558 command, where A10 sets the number of times to probe a point until it consistently hits the S0.003 tolerance value, R0.5 is a half-second rest between probes (to let it settle) and B0 turns the heaters off during probing (less interference).

        G31 P500 X100 Y100 Z4 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height
You've set X and Y offsets very high, so the firmware thinks the probe is 100mm away from the hot end in X and Y. This is probably not correct! The other thread has X-30 Y0. For setting Z (once the probe is working) see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Test_and_calibrate_the_Z_probe

@droftarts thanks Ian for your explanation, I’m completely new to the duet so your help is much appreciated I’ll get on to it and report back👍🏻
