Hi! I'm trying to set my drivers to stealthchop2, but somehow it always brings me to spreadcycle.
      M569 P0 S1 D3
      Am I doing something wrong?
      Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, and not found a solution yet:
        https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/16297/help-needed-with-duet-3-6hc-tmc5160-stealthchop-config

        can you try

        M569 P0 S1 D3 V34

this should be changed the "tpwmthrs" as example on a 0.9deg Motors with 16Steps and 200 steps per mm to 110.3 mm/sec.
this means all speeds under 110mm/sec should be in stealthchop mode and all above in spreadcyle.
default I think is V100 and this is also verry slow depence on the step per mm I think.

this I do not know but when you call now M569 P0 as example it shows you the mm/s tpwmthrs 34 (110.3 mm/sec)
decrease means sitch to spreadcycle on higher speed.
which firmware version do you use?
I still not understand why it is not working on my setup, can you give me your complete config please so maybe I can find my problem too.

              Awesome, thanks!
              M569 P0
Drive 0 runs forwards, active low enable, step timing fast, mode stealthChop, ccr 0x00053, toff 3, tblank 0, hstart/hend/hdec 5/0/0, tpwmthrs 85 (110.3 mm/sec)

Isn't this supposed to say stealthchop?

yes up to 110mm/sec all above (maybe travel with 120mm/sec) should be in spreadcycle.

Drive 0 runs forwards, active low enable, step timing fast, mode stealthChop, ccr 0x00053, toff 3, tblank 0, hstart/hend/hdec 5/0/0, tpwmthrs 85 (110.3 mm/sec)

can you post you complete config please? maybe I can find my issue too.
is your machine quiete now on normaly speeds like a move with F1800?

It's sort of quite. Not as quite as my creality Ender 3 silent board, but hard to hear at slow moves.

you have a Duet Maestro with Firmware 2.03?
have you tried the new Firmware 3.0RC12,
does this makes a difference for you?

I tried RR3.0 when it officially came out and it didn't really make a difference.
                      This is my current setup:
                      Board: Duet Maestro 1.0 (duetmaestro100)
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 Maestro 2.05.1 (2020-02-09b1)
