      I have a spare Raspberry Pi 4 4gb ram laying around and I am wondering if there is any benefit (performance or otherwise) by using it instead of a V3 B+.

        Just for running the Duet software, I'd say no. If you plan on getting creative then maybe.

        Hardware wise the Pi4 does support USB and PXE booting, and has the double HDMI outputs but thats not something that affects the Duet stuff really.
