Is there a way to add a potentiometer on this hall effect sensor that I want to use as a z sensor for auto bed leveling I want to put magnets under my bed as calibration points

hall sensor output is digital, I don't understand what you would do with a potentometer.
Have you the reference of the board, or the datasheet, schematic ?

hall sensors can be analouge, and the one on the picture probably is, using an opamp as a comparitor to make it act like a digital output.

the output labeled A0 is probably the analouge output, but i don't understand why OP can't use the digital output for probing?

Yeah I think this on can have a digital or analog signal but I want to add a potentiometer to it so u can adjust the trigger distance ither closer or farther

Like this hall sensor has a pot built into it to adjust the trigger distance

It might be possible to add a potentiometer, but I can't say how to do it without a schematic of the board.

I'll try to get that schematic but I'm thinking it might be hard to get lol

@bigwood247, you can try bending the sensor in/out for minor adjustment but not too many times.

So I bought diff hall endstops that I can add a external potentiometer to so now i know i can adjust the trigger distance with my external potentiometer the three holes u see in the above pic are where u solder the pot to
