Yes I have - In my first note in this thread I said I got as far as step 8 and essentially that's where I still stop.

Connect to the DuetWifi access point, then find your home network SSID in the list, enter your home network password and save that. Reboot the Duet and it will attempt to connect to your home network

            @T3P3Tony:

Connect to the DuetWifi access point, via the USB port ?

then find your home network SSID in the list I have that SSID

, enter your home network password I have that

and save that. Where do I save the SSID and password and how do I save it? Do I use Pronterface? Is there an associated M command

Reboot the Duet and it will attempt to connect to your home network

            Thanks,
            Orin

After you connect to DuetWifi access point, go to 192.168.1.1 via your browser.
There is a step by step instruction on the wiki

I have tried that using both Windows Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and both just sit and search and never connect.

Regarding the Step by step guide. I can never get past step 8

So step 8 is connecting via wifi

                  1. your computer is on WiFi, do you have a list of access Points?
                  2. If so do you see the Duet an access Point? If not, are you seeing any access points?

I have spent hours and made multiple attempts trying to get my Duet to respond to step 8 in the step-by-step guide and have never gotten the Duet to respond. Should I assume that the Duet I have is defective?

                        You said :

                        1. If so do you see the Duet an access Point? Yes I see it and I can connect to it via WiFi

When you connect to it, does it display a list of the SSIDs of the wifi networks it can see, and are you able to select the one you want and enter the password for it?

I'm out of the office at present, otherwise I would provide a screenshot of what that list should look like.
