Having a weird issue with the newly installed Paneldue 5i on my Duet 3 6HC.

It boots up, i can control some of the duet features but it is stuck at connecting in the top right corner.

I have updated it to 1.24, and the Duet to 3.1.1 latest.

I checked that versions are indeed the ones flashed and they are.

I can home the duet, move axis, I can control hot end, bed, but i get no feedback whatsoever. Like the connection is 1 way.

      I did add the:

      M575 P1 B57600 S1

      That didn't help.

Then I saw on the forum about adding it double as such:

M575 P1 B115200 S1 ; Set auxiliary serial port baud rate and require checksum (for PanelDue)
M575 P1 B115200 S1 ; Set auxiliary serial port baud rate and require checksum (for PanelDue)

      Still no luck..

      Anyone?

and a bunch of SLA printers..

Once is enough, twice was a workaround a while back.

The simplest solution is that you've not connected the io0.out(?) pin to the PanelDue Rx pin properly?

Possible, but doubtful unless a wire is broken. Checking now.

Well, sure enough, the green wire was not making connection in the crimp (from factory).

            Recrimped, works!
