Limit switch wiring - GND can be combined???

Hello,

I have a little cable problem: I don't have enough cable for the limit switches.
Tightening a cable would mean a certain amount of effort, which I accept if something speaks against my following question.

Can I combine the GND of 2 limit switches?

PS: If not, please provide a simple (I'm not an electronics technician) explanation - just to learn.
