M500 wont save

i just installed a duet 2 wifi on my cr10s and everything works great but it wont save my pid auto tune results with the M500 command and it also wont create a config override file ither anyone know whats going on here

The reprap works different than marlin , M500 does not save the setting to eeprom , but makes a config-override.g file which you need to add the line M501 to the end of config.g to load it.

No config-override.g files exists in /sys?
What firmware version are you using? M115 to find out.
Do you get any errors when sending M500?
