Retrieve duration of Finished Print when reconnecting
-
I run prints overnight and when return laptop will Webcontrol will inevitably have to reconnect (laptop sleep).
It would be GREAT (and give a much better impression of a fully integrated system) if at that point Webcontrol could retrieve the duration of the print that just finished. That's invariably something I'd like to know!
Would also be nice to have print end time (a real time) just as we are all hoping for "estimated finish time" to make it's way back in to webcontrol!

@r123 When a print is finished, the time it took is in the Console in DWC.

Only if DWC was open when it finishes. His laptop is going to sleep and it's not getting collected.
@r123 I think this could be solved by the addition of writting the total print time to the gcode file itself, which is on the list.

If you enable logging using M929 then the start and finish times will be written to the log file.

If you connect to http://<ip address>/machine/status you get the machine model, and that has an entry 'job' 'lastDuration' which looks to me to be duration in seconds of the last print job. (At least, it does on mine - MB6HX + Pi firmware 3.1.1 - I don't know what combinations of hardware are needed for this to be true.)
