      @brian:

      I tried to upgrade to this firmware release in hopes it might fix my endstop troubles. It installs but when running the SetNetwork command it shows error: M587 unsupported command. So i cant get connected to the web control.

      See https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/blob/dev/WHATS_NEW.md for what has been fixed.

        That's because you were previously running a 1.19 beta version. You should go back to using the beta if it was working well for you. The bug fixes in version 1.18.2 were already implemented in the 1.19 beta.

            Which version of DuetWiFiServer are oh running? It should be 1.03-ch to go with main firmware 1.18.2.

                @dc42:

                I've just released firmware 1.18.2 (stable) at https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/releases.

                Installed over 1.18.1. Did a few simple test prints on my T3P3 Kossel Mini. All seems good.

                  I presume you mean 1.03-ch.

                  If you send M122 from a USB host program, what does it show as the wifi status?

                    WifiServer is running
                    SPI underruns 0, overruns 0

                      I'm sorry, I forgot that M122 doesn't display WiFi stats in firmware versions prior to 1.19. To get the stats in 1.18 and earlier you need to send M552 S0 from USB to disconnect the network, then send M552 S1 and wait for the connect response.

                          So you need to send M552 S1 to start it.

                                If it's running as an added point then it's failed to connect to your WiFi network. You need to connect to it from a smartphone, tablet or laptop instead of to your usual WiFi router, to set up the SSID and password stored in the WiFi module. See https://duet3d.com/wiki/Configuring_RepRapFirmware_for_a_Cartesian_printer#Homing_Z_using_a_Z_probe and start in particular steps 7 to 10.

                                  Have obtained ip address on cell phone. There is no step for entering the SSID. Unable to make work.

                                    I think i'll just abort this procedure. I have a ir probe coming tomorrow. If i install that and then change firmware to the 1.19 beta, will i overcome the z endstop issue? Also having difficulty locating that download again. Do you have a link to it?

                                    Thank

                                      Do you have anyone who lives near you that has the Duet boards that could possibly help you?

                                      Where are you based?
