      Hi all,

Just got my Duet3D Wifi and display, I want to use this on my BCN3D Sigma R17 printer that TBH has never worked properly with the stock board and firmware - lots of different random bugs.

Any advice over wire to use or tools for putting the connectors on or anything else for a newbie be much appriciated.

My use for 3D printing is I am the co-founder of Team UnLimbited - https://www.teamunlimbited.org/

      Drew.

I use an engineer PA-09 for crimping most of my connectors.

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

I have try successfully with a SN28B, with accept the KK 254 crimp.
Lot more fast than with the PA-09

FWIW the recomended tool for the Duet 3 MB6HC and Duet 3 Mini is Engineer PA21, because it will crimp both the KK254 and the VH396 terminals. Duet 2 series boards don't have VH396 connectors, just the KK254.

@dc42 great to know and I think I have one of them SOMEWHERE in my garage 🙂

Can't wait to get on with this Sigma conversion as its been sat idle for the last few years as the stock firmware is very buggy.

Shame @iDevelo seems to be AWOL as he previously achieved this conversion.
