    Hi,

I'm currently very pleased with my duet wifi, but ever since I ordered mine, paneldue with 7 inches screens weren't available. It's written they've been removed from some kind of problem or quality issues.

Will there be available again soon?

If not is there a good reference of 7"inch display out there if I choose to get only the paneldue board V2? I don't know what were these issues, so I don't know what model, brand or else to avoid.

Oh, and I can't find anywhere the paneldue board v2 for Europe, any reseller?

    Thanks in advance!

Whilst I like my paneldue, I didnt bother with my second duet machine opting instead for a cheap 7inch tablet with wifi. But then paneldue is nice to use and looks the part.

Hi, if you contact a existing Duet reseller in your country or near by they can add a PanelDue without a screen in their next order from us. Or order directly from duet3d.com.

We stopped selling the 7 inch displays because the most common manufacturer (who supplied a number of resellers) had poor quality control. Some displays were fine but too many had dead pixels, lines, flickering. You may be able to get a perfect none from an eBay supplier, just be happy they will take a return if it's not right.

Alternatively the 5 inch panels also look good!

          Thanks for your feedback,

Filastruder still sell 7 inch display, did they choose another supplier, or it'll be a gamble to order one on their website?

You can also try eckstein_komponente (Germany) and the nyplatform (USA) for TFT panels.

We're looking at an alternative 7" panel, but it will require some modifications to PanelDue to work with it, so it won't be available any time soon.

What kind of modification, software? or stuff like handling FT5206 instead of only XPT2046, or else ?

I have the 7 inch panel already, anything i should be worried about besides dead pixels and or flicker? Mine appears to be working well for the last 6 months. and is a joy to work with…

If it's working fine then all good. It was not that they all failed, just that we had to reject too many in testing/ had too many returns.
