Hi, I replaced the stock board in a Chiron for a Duet2 WiFi. No matter what I did, I could not get the Z motors to turn, they would only vibrate. I had a second board so I just replaced it. Now the Z motors work but the X motor vibrates and moves in both directions for a few centimetres. I used the same SD card with each board. What am i doing wrong?
    Thanks

check the wiring. a bad crimp in the connections will cause this.

Have tried 3 cables and 4 stepper motors. Still the same, vibration but not turning.

It was working correctly on one board but the Z motors would not operate. replacing the board brought the Z motors into play but lost the X

are you sure you are running the correct current?

Verify the stepper motor wiring is correct for the Duet. Other boards may not be the same.

Check the phases. Check wire continuity.

Sounds to me like the two wires in the middle of the motor connector need to be swapped. Try that!

Don't randomly swap wires around, you'll blow a driver.

Test to identify the motor coil phases and wire them accordingly.
