      You will need to common the grounds too.

      We've never tried using external drivers with the Duet Maestro, but if it works at all, I don't think it will need any setting up apart from the usual steps/mm with M92.

        E2 and E3 external drive modules can work, but X_Y_Z_E0_E1 external drive modules cannot work.

              you want to desolder the onboard drivers?

              at that stage it might be easier to get a skr board and run the lpc port of rrf on it

                              The price of DUET3 is beyond my ability.
                              I like DUET2MAESTRO very much, but TMC2224 is not what I want, I want more flexible drive support

                                it makes no sense to buy a maestro and replace the drivers.

                                one of these ports with the port makes more sense.
