Should I finish building my 350-400mm diameter delta?

Does anyone here have a larger delta that worked out well (or didn't?)
I have most of the parts to build a 350-400mm diameter delta printer. I have my Max Metal 300mm delta pretty well tuned and working great.
Is it all simply scaling everything up to the appropriate size or will I run into other problems associated with larger deltas?
My frame is 1000mm tall with 500mm 2020 beams at the sides. It has linear rails installed, so those give the 2020 more rigidity and those rails run the entire length of the vertical 2020 (so there are no gaps).
I'm trying to reach a print area of roughly 350mm in diameter which is what I'll be happy with for a specific item I want to make.
I'm mostly missing the electronics and I probably need to get my 500mm side beams cut down a bit for accuracy and to make the towers closer to the bed.
I have an aluminum bed of 400mm in diameter and I would probably end up buying a set of custom Haydn arms to complete the printer.
I might also buy a few more 0.9 degree steppers to go with the 500W 24V power supply.
I've thought about using or building a Cartesian printer out of the MTW Create motion platform if I can't get this design to work well.

Thinking of doing the same, so I'll be watching. It is funny watching these massive printers printing Benchys. I really wonder how many get put to their full use.

My delta with a 330m diameter bed (of which about 300mm is printable without the effector hitting the towers) is working really well since I installed linear rails, Haydn's magnetic arms, and the PCB effector and carriages. The only change I would want to make for a larger print diameter is to ask Haydn to use thicker carbon fibre tubes for the longer arms.

One thing I can say is that you should tripple check the length of the linear rails, my friendly chinese vendor delivered great running rails to me, but it seems they were cut in two batches and one of the rails was 2mm shorter than the other two, not something you'd expect but it seems this can happen…

I didn't see a spec on the website. Are Haydn's arms 6mm x 4mm?

Would the thickness be for accuracy or running the printer at higher speeds? What arms length did you use for yours?
What I will probably do is wait for the PCB effector and carriages to be released and use those in the build with some longer Haydn's arms.

The extra thickness is because I'm not convinced that 6mm CF tube would be stiff enough for longer arms. The arms on my delta are 360mm.

I was inspired by d42 to get into building a large delta. … I used smoothieware as at the time duet was in transition from 0.8 to ethernet/wifi (over a year ago). If I had to do it again, I'd go with duet -- I had a lot of trouble with the Azteeg board, eventually switched to authentic smoothieboard.
