    Hello

I have a Mini 5+ and would like to connect a 5V fan. Is there a way to do this without StepDown? Or can I feed 5V via V_OUTLC2?

What would be the best solution?

why not use the out6 5v PWM connection for lasers etc?

But essentially, you can take a 5v feed from somewhere on the board and feed it into ground of one of the fan connectors as the mosfets switch the negative side.

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

        Thanks for your answer

A good idea. I need 2x 5V fan and 1x 12V fan and want to have the cleanest solution.

The out6 5V PWM somehow does not work. This one always has 5V present. And I would need 2 such connections.

        Can I connect the 5V_EXT with V_OUTLC2 to have 5V on OUT1 and OUT2?

Yes that should work. Just be very careful on connecting the jumper wire to prevent connecting VIN and 5v.
