      Hello again...

On my custom big printer im building i now have both x motors working properly, both z motors working properly, and have just finished the y motor install. I can move it from min to max travel with M256 that allows movement of non homed axis for testing, but when i hit "Home Y" button, the z lifts up a bit, then the Y moves a short distance but never does the big move towards the endstop for the initial pass... ive tried to set things up similiar to the x axis but it just wont do the - move.
Below is my config files and motor drive assignments for clarity. Can someone look at the home Y file and see if it looks normal?

      homey.g
      homex.g
      config.g
      drives.jpg

Highly modified FT5 R1, ATX supply, mosfet w/silicone heat pad, bmg ext, TMC2600 drivers, and my custom quad z mod with 4 lead screws and custom cut new upper panels and bed, and using the dual z endstop mod. New project is 800x500x500z printer.

        Hi,

In the future if you will post your files using the </> tag (copy and post into it) we won't have to download your files to look at them.

I 've reposted them for you.

          Hi,

Check your M574 commands in config.g

One does not have the ! character the others do.

If your saying thats the problem the missing "!" , i can correct that but that code was given to me by another forum user here in another thread. I am not used to this reprap 3 stuff yet and that entire config g file was edited by another user in that thread. I will add it and test again. Thank you... will let you know shortly.

That solved it. Thank you sir!

Now to decide whether to configure gcode for the bl touch or build the bed first... id rather test it without the bed so i dont smash anything lol.
