How far can I go on purging my SD Card? In my Sys folder, I have my config, and two triggers. In my Macro folder, I have my two macros.

Can I delete everything else? Is there anything that needs to remain?

      Thanks!

I asked this earlier and my Duet2/Ethernet running 3.2 I was supposed to keep all these files in the sys directory:

        bed.g
        cancel.g
        config.g
        Duet2CombinedFirmware.bin
        dwc-settings.json
        homedelta.g
        iap.bin
        iap4e.bin
        pause.g
        resume.g
        tfree0.g
        tpost0.g
        tpost1.g
        tpre0.g
        tpre1.g
        config-override.g
        heightmap.csv
        config.g.bak
        iap4s.bin
        Duet2CombinedIAP.bin
        config.json
        sleep.g
        stop.g
        dwc2settings.json
        Duet2_SDiap32_WiFiEth.bin
        manifest.json.gz

I believe starting in 3.3 there will be a firmwares folder inside of the /sys folder that will take all of the firmware bin files etc.

Furthermore, eventually DWC will be smart enough to only upload the firmware files that are applicable to the board.

            @alankilian Thanks!

But shouldn't we be able to delete the .bin files?

And if we do not use pause, resume or cancel, there is there a reason to keep those?

I guess I should just start deleting, and see what happens...

The bin files could be deleted but they are handy to have in place in case you need to reflash in an emergency. The IAP files are required to perform a flash.
