      I intend to use the Smart Effector on a Anycubic Predator with custom made zero backlash arms (inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4396638). I have also printed the following adapter for the Smart Effector to the Predator (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3603550). The issue is that when I bolt the smart effector PCB to the adapter using 2 nylon washers per bolt (one above and the other below the PCB). I can notice that the PCB bows slightly up in the middle of each of the 3 triangle sides. I don't understand what can induce this convexity, since the PCB is resting only on the 2 nylon washers per corner and not touching anything else on the adapter. The middle of each side is like 0.1mm higher that the ends. I have tightened the bolts carefully and to a minimum. Is this something that can affect the normal working of the piezo sensor, or I can live happily ignoring it?

        You should probably be fine and you'll know as soon as you hook the board up whether it will give you issues from the probe readout on DWC.
        I used that adapter for quite a while before I changed to magball rods

          @jay_s_uk Yes, the adaptor is yours 😉 thanks a lot for your efforts!!! It is just that I cannot understand why it bows 😉

            @ignacmc I can't either unless theres a bit of shrinkage on the print?
            Can you measure the hole centres?

              @jay_s_uk it is difficult to measure with the required precision using a caliper from outside to outside of the bolts. In your model distances are 55mm and 12 mm, which match the Smart Effector holes. By the way I printed it on Polycarbonate (PC-Blend) from Prusa.

                @ignacmc very nice
                I would just connect it all up and see how you get on
