Bed leveling calibration issue
-
I've build a Jubilee3D tool changer with a Duet 6HC, 3HC board and a raspberry pi 4. The firmware that I've installed is 3.2.2
The printer has 3 Z steppers for bed tramming but it won't work.
The Z steppers are connected to the 3HC and the switch to the 6HC.
The Z steppers and the switch are both connected to the 3HC.I'm having 2 issues, the first is that the bed won't move far enough up to hit the switch in every corner of the bed. Giving these errors: "Error: Z probe was not triggered during probing move
Error: Compensation or calibration cancelled due to probing errors".
Video of homing and calibration sequence: Tramming.mp4 (Watch the end)The second problem is when I try to "calibrate" the bed by hand so it triggers the switch in every corner that I get the same height offset for every corner. Even after rising one of the corners. Hence it won't tram the bed thinking its already level: "G28 Z
Leadscrew adjustments made: -4.000 -4.000 -4.000, points used 3, (mean, deviation) before (-4.000, 0.000) after (-0.000, 0.000)"I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here.

@sjado See this
Endstop switches and Z probes connected to the main board cannot control motors on an expansion board. This is planned to be fixed in release 3.4.
-
@jay_s_uk hmm I see, why does it work for normal homing?
-
@sjado i wouldn't put any trust in it
-
@jay_s_uk okay I'll put both on expansion then!
-
@jay_s_uk Okay the endstop switch is now on the expansion board but both problems still remain.

Well upgrading to firmware 3.3beta3 seems to have fixed my problems...
