I have moved from a old duet 0.8.5 to a duet 2 ethernet. Used the configuration tool and the tweeked some of the parameters to match my old config file.
I have a couple of problems with the web control
1 problem with the temp settings is that the hot end it wont show as active. It goes from off to standby but not active.
Also if I set a temp in standby I cant stop it until it reaches that temp (except emergency stop).
      I also sometimes get "generic.heaterStates.disconnected "

The bed temp wont show anything other than "generic.heaterStates.disconnected " If I set a temp under active dropdown menu and then click on Bed it does sometimes start heating and show standby but not always.
Other thing I get is I have a extra bed cooling fan configured and when the software starts the fan momentarily starts on high and the goes to 0.

I have also just noticed that if I click on either temp on the panel due it goes from red to yellow and the web control shows standby or off.
Anyone have any Idea what is wrong with my config?

Yeah it appears you need to convert your heater and end stops to the proper rrf 3.0+ syntax unless you go to v 2.03/2.05

        A few things have changed...
        M305 is no longer used

Thanks, I did use the latest config tool so would have thought it would be correct. Will see if I can sort it out.

I'm on my phone and can't post my config. But in the post adjacent to yours mentioning print finished.....You can look at my config of the end stops for a refrence

Edit. If you look at the first post config. G you will see I left all of my earlier 2.03 syntax settings and configurations but they are commented out. That was from all of my work converting to the new system and it might prove helpful for you as it has for me. The config. G lower on in the thread is after I did some house cleaning got rid of all of the extraneous lines

Cant seem to get the config correct Keep getting unknown channel.
              Old config was
              M305 P0 T100000 B3950 R4700 ; set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 0
              M143 H0 S120 ; set temperature limit for heater 0 to 120C
              M305 P1 T100000 B4388 R4700 ; set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1

              Have tried various settings
              latest one was
              M308 S0 P"e0temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4725 ; configure sensor 1 as thermistor on pin e0temp
              M950 H0 C"e0temp" T0

get Error: Temperature reading fault on heater 1: unknown temperature sensor channel

              also tried
              M308 S0 P"e0temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B3950 ; define E0 temperature sensor
              M950 H0 C"e0heat" T0 ; heater 1 uses the e0heat pin and sensor 1
Error: Temperature reading fault on heater 1: unknown temperature sensor channel

You are showing code for heater 0 but the error is for heater 1.

What is the code for heater 1?

                  here's the code for both

                  M308 S0 P"bed_temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B3950 ; define bed temperature sensor
                  M308 S1 P"e0temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4388 ; define E0 temperature sensor
                  M950 H0 C"bed_heat" T0 ; heater 0 uses the bed_heat pin, sensor 0
                  M950 H1 C"e0heat" T1 ; heater 1 uses the e0heat pin and sensor 1

                  Still have error heater 1
                  both still showing 2000 °C

Just changed back to old settings and temps are correct so not a sensor problem.

I checked the sensors by removing M308 and M960 lines and put back M305 lines. and the sensor readings were back and correct.

You now should be able to go to 3.3.0 or (if you ok with betas) to 3.4.x.
