Change preset feedrates and distances

Hey,
I would like to change the preset feedrates and distances on my PanelDue 7i.
Reason is, that having eg. filament feedrates of 2mm/s, 5mm/s, ++ is already too much for my daily use.
I read something about that this is not possible and you have to change the firmware for such changes.
If so, is there any tutorial for this?
I guess this would be a pretty often requested change.Thanks!
