Layer Time Chart Bug from External Network
-
Duet Web Control 3.4.0-b2
When viewing an active print job from a remote network, the Layer Chart appears blank until a layer completes. Then, that layer is assigned a layer time equal to the entire print time, with all previous layers showing 0s layer time. All subsequent layers show the correct layer time, but the scaling is broken by the "bad" layer.

Is that still true in beta6?

can you be clearer on what you mean by a remote network. What IP is the Duet and the machine you are checking from. If this is truly "remote" i.e not on the same LAN can you see if the same issue occurs when on the same LAN.
-
@t3p3tony Yes, I did mean remote, as in not the same LAN, hitting my external IP and port fording to the Maestro.
I did some more testing and found the issue is repeatable even on my LAN, just by refreshing the browser page. Normally my DWC tab stays loaded for a whole print, so I didn't notice before.
I have not tried flashing the latest beta yet.

@ccs86 ahh ok, yes this is not related to the remote connection AFAIK. There is no cache on the Duet for previous layers that were printed before the DWC session connected.
@chrishamm please can you look at why the first layer after connecting part way through a print is counted as taking the whole print time up to the point the session starts.

@ccs86 Thanks for reporting this, I've got a fix ready that will be included in 3.4-b7.
