      I recently purchased a BigTreeTech Smart Filament sensor and have been trying to get it to work. When testing to see if it would detect a filament run-out, it did not. I double checked my wiring and that seems to be correct, so the issue must be in my config file. here it is:

        @lildannyoso said in Filament sensor not detecting filament run-out:

        M591 D0 P7 C"e0stop" L7 R50:200 E15 S0

        You've got your filament monitor disabled.

        From the M591 page:

        Sn 0 = disable filament monitoring

          @alankilian Wow such an obvious oversight on my part. It works now!

            @lildannyoso

            We've all been there.

            Sometimes the eyes of the author just CANNOT see obvious mistakes.

            I'm glad you got it running!
