Is my Duet 3 Expansion 1XD broken?
-
- 1XD Name for Topic B121 (with CAN Address 121)
- 1XD Name for Topic B122 (broken and default CAN Address)
@dc42
The first 1XD (B121) have all Functions, The Motor is Driving.
I have Connect B122 on VIN 24V and only the VIN LED is lightning
The boards are attached with spacers. And there is nothing conductive on the back. The wall is made of plexiglass
@Macgyver
I have B121 disconecctet from VIN and on B122 is Only VIN lightning. I have switch the Cable from B121 to B122. This change nothing. -
I asked the Store to replace the 1XD after LED's did not light Up as described. He referred me to this forum for guarantee approval. How can we proceed with this?
-
@speedy86 you didn't reply fully to my earlier question:
Does the red 5V LED still not light up if you have only VIN power and nothing else connected to the 1XD?
-
@dc42 i have never Seen the light in the 5V LED.
I have only connectet VIN and only this LED ist Lightning
I have only VIN and CAN connectet, only VIN LED ist lightning
My Last step i Connectet The Motor in B122. ( VIN,CAN, Motor ist connectet), only VIN LED ist Lightning.
Bevor the next Connection, i make the Power Off. -

@phaedrux no
Only Vin, And 5V
-
If nothing is plugged in other than power and the status does not flash at all then they can try jumpering the CAN_RESET and power cycling.
-
@phaedrux I did that, but didn't change anything
-
Hmm, that is unfortunate. I think we'll have to replace it under warranty once more.
