      Hi,

I am using RRF 3.4.0beta7+5 SBC. When using the M280 command, I can move the servo once. After that it does not move until I reset the board. 3.3.0 did not have this problem.

      Config:

      M950 S3 C"io1.out"

Using a Duet3 Mini 5+ without any expansion boards.

      Thanks

Same thing happening in Stand Alone mode.

Downgrading to 3.3.0 solves the problem.

          Thanks for the report.

Would you be able to test with this updated beta?

            @phaedrux

I have tested using the servo using the link you have provided in stand alone mode:

            Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 3 Mini 5+ 3.4.0beta7+7 (2022-01-14)

Same thing is happening. Servo only moves once initially.

            Thanks

@vollnormal Does it stop working immediately as in:

              M280 P3 S90
              M280 P3 S120 ; <<--- This doesn't work?

Or do you do anything else inbetween?

Mostly asking in selfinterest 🙂 as I have some problems running my servos but that's probably not realted to this at all.

@gixxerfast said in RRF 3.4.0beta7+5 SBC Servo only responding once after reset:

                M280 P3 S90
                M280 P3 S120 ; <<--- This doesn't work?

Correct. Any command after the first (M280 P3 S90 in this case) is ignored.

Doesn't help the OP, but the servo on my MB6HC with 3.4.0beta7+5 and SBC (Pi4) is behaving as it should. I have a daemon.g that moves a servo according to enclosure temperature and that seems to be working OK, plus repeated M280 P1 S170 and M280 P1 S10 switch it back and forth happily.

If your misbehaving servo is using io1.out on the mini5+ you should try the firmware build in the thread for my issue.

I'm having the same Issue running a servo on a toolboard v1.0 on the io0.out Port.

                          Mainboard is Duet3 6HC + SBC

M280 P0 S80 works as expected the first time, but only once.

I just upgraded to RRF v3.4.2 but still no luck.

@niocio01 please start a new thread to describe the issue you are seeing, because the title of this one is not appropriate.
