Magnetic filament sensor issues

UPDATE
I started a new print, forgot to sand sensor at first.
It kind of worked after the usual issues.
I stopped it and sanded the sensor.
Restarted ( 18:19:55 in attached log console (6).txt ) and now it does not work.
It lays down filament fine but says "too little movement" and " sensor not working" and pauses.I loosen the screws a little and checked that the axle spins.
I will try in an hour or two since it worked yesterday.
I really liked to get the replacement sensor ASAP. I got no response from Hobby store so can you please help me with this?
About sending the current sensor on warranty, I bought it over a year ago and already got a new under warranty so I guess that ship sailed.
Are there such issues with these sensors? Am I doing something wrong?
Some prints I run is 100 hours +. So some kind of sensor is needed. Before these sensors, if there was a feed stop I had to go and find the Z height with a feeler gage and use Notepad ++ to make a program that started at the right height.
It took a lot of time and sometimes I got one layer too low or too high and the print was f**ked anyway. The documentation on the laser sensor says it is not a good choice for PETG and 99% of what I print is PETG.

Thanks for the recap. Please send an email to warranty@duet3d.com and CC your reseller for your current sensor. Include a link to this forum thread and the details of your original purchase and details of your previous warranty exchange for it. You'll receive a reply with a form to fill out. I assume it's also from Hobby store? We can enquire about the previous one at the same time.

@phaedrux
Thanks. I disabled the sensor last night. Set the parameter so it just monitors. Have a saved log file on this.
But even then it stopped the print "sensor not working".
Used some tricks I have learned during this ordeal and got the print running.
Right now print is running with sensor enabled and stops intermittent.Being without sensor is not an option at the moment. Need to print. Rather have it stop intermittent than without monitoring.
So can you contact Hobby Store about the warranty sensor? Both are bought there.
Once I got that one I can send the one that is in the printer now.The shipping on warranty is 20% of what a new sensor cost. I might just buy 3 new sensors and hope that one works.

Can you tell me the WAC from the one that has yet to be returned to you?

@Frankzz Have you heard anything back from Hobby Store yet?
-
@phaedrux No, but I think I know why now.
I just got package with my old sensor back.
Writing is in polish so I am not sure but it seems address was wrong. This is very strange. I printed the address from their website, it also included phone number and E-mail.
I doublechecked now and it is the only address on their site.
Package has not been opened.I need to buy more stuff for the printer anyway. Will try to find a place that has your sensors and other stuff I need.
I think Hobbystore had their chance...................... -
Had you heard back a reply from hobbystore?
