generic.heater.states.disconnected

Long time no see gentlemen....
I managed to install my old duet wifi 2 on a friends Creality CR20 pro.
There are some problems to b solved. Starting with extruder heater.Extruder heater cannot be controlled. It says
'' generic.heaterStates.disconnected ''
I ran the M303 command and the heater did turn on and was calibrated accordingly.
However, I cannot turn on or off the heater. I haven't tried printing with it.I have to solve this problem first so I can move onto the next one, which is fan control, they always stay on, no matter what....

@cozyp said in generic.heater.states.disconnected:
Extruder heater cannot be controlled. It says
'' generic.heaterStates.disconnected ''Where and when does it say that?
What firmware version? The config looks like RRF2 style, but what does M122 report? Might be a good time to update to RRF3 with a fresh config.

@phaedrux everything solved on updating to latest firmware. I'm deleting this post
