How long for firmware install?

Hi All. I just installed me genuine duet3 and am upgrading the stock 3.3 firmware that came with it, through the DWC. It has been at it for about an hour. Is this usual?
I am hoping to do it right this time by starting with the latest firmware before attacking the config.

It still says "please wait while updates are being installed" after 2 hours. Any suggestions? Things were going so well

@damaged_goods just reboot. It's either updated or it hasn't

@damaged_goods as @jay_s_uk says. Firmware upgrades normally take less than a minute.
